BAKING EQUIPMENT

1. LARGE EQUIPMENT

Mixers
Mixers are commonly used for mixing cake batters and biscuit doughs, kneading bread doughs, whisking and whipping eggs and cream respectively.

1.1 - Mixer and mixer attachments

Ovens
An oven is a hot chamber in which food is heated by hot air.  It is indispensable to have a good oven for good baking.

1.2 - Digital oven

Steamers
Steamers is not a baking equipment but is important for making steamed buns, steamed puddings and certain Chinese or Japanese sponge cakes.

Food Processors
These are useful for grinding nuts and spices and making fruit purées.  Some food processors can be used for mixing biscuit doughs which require minimum handling.

Cake and pastry pans can be made of glass, silicone, ceramic, aluminium and non-stick materials.  Some baking pans are even made of paper.

      What an informative blog you have here. I just love all the baking equipments you've posted in this post. If I have all these in my kitchen, I'll be the happiest baker on earth! Hahaha....

      Thank you for visiting my blog and to answer your question regarding the pleats on my currypuff, what I can say is practise makes perfect. Though mine is not near to perfect just yet, but I will keep on practising.

    3. There is so much equipment for baking, its amazing to see all the things you can do. I especially like the two level cooling rack, I've only ever seen single level ones. That rack is very convenient for those who are cooking large amounts of desserts.
